ABOUT ME

Massage has always been a big part of my life. As a child I was diagnosed with scoliosis (curvature of the spine) and always had back pain. My mother would give me massages which made the pain manageable and I was able to avoid surgery. When I was 9 years old, she had an accident which resulted in a serious injury in her lower back. She was unable to work and was put on disability. From that point on I gave my mom massages regularly to help her deal with the pain. My father was a blue collar worker and always had aches and pain as well so I became the family massage therapist. I've been doing massage my entire life!
I received my formal education from Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy and Massage. The rigorous 700 hour program consisted on Physiology, Anatomy, Kinesiology, Pathologies, Psychology of the Body, and more! I'm grateful for the education and the hands on training from master therapists I've received over the years.
Today I live an active and pain free life and I owe it all to massage. It is my belief that receiving massage 1-2 times per week can change your world. I have experienced it on so many levels in my own personal life. It’s not just about your physical body, it’s your level of happiness and ability to focus as well. It’s my greatest joy to share this gift with you.
Massage has taught me the power of touch. So much can heal with a single touch. When we touch and connect, so many incredible processes happen in our body. One of the biggest issues we face in our society is the abundance of isolation we experience. Our bodies are craving more touch and connection than ever before. When we are fulfilled in this way, so much healing can happen in our bodies, our emotions, and the connection to ourselves and other people.
Improving my clients’ quality of life and witnessing them become more connected to their bodies is a huge passion of mine. I’m a natural lover of people and lover of life. I tend to see the positive aspects of things and I feel that makes me a good facilitator of healing. I know that when both of our energies and intention fields come together, something special occurs and healing is an organic result.
